Turning belief into action
Sabbath School isn't finished when class ends — outreach and mission are two of its four core pillars. Here are concrete starting points, sized for a person, a class, or a whole church.
Local action
Notice one need
Ask one neighbor or coworker how they're really doing, and actually listen to the answer.
Share Sabbath rest
Invite someone without regular rest — a shift worker, a new parent, a caregiver — into part of your Sabbath.
Use one gift
Offer one specific skill (a meal, a ride, a repair, a listening ear) to someone in your class or neighborhood this week.
A global vision
Sabbath School has historically connected local classes to mission around the world through giving, prayer, and stories. Ask your class or church leadership which mission project your congregation currently supports, and pray for it by name this week.
Mission project planner
1) Pick one project your church already supports. 2) Learn one specific fact about it. 3) Share that fact in class. 4) Choose one recurring action (prayer, giving, or a letter).

Spiritual gifts and ministries
Read the belief study on Spiritual Gifts and Ministries for the biblical basis, and talk with your Sabbath School leader about where your gifts could serve.
